nanohydroculture is our trademark potted plant delivered to you in a hygienic pot free of soil, smelly compost, and fungus. The perfect indoor plant for the office, restaurant, school, and any environment requiring a healthy, green plant minus the dirt, pesticide, and smells. 

Instead of soil, we use special highly absorbent clay pebbles (called “LECA”) and water.  That’s all.

LECA contains no dirt.

Specially selected quality clay is heated and hardened at very high temperatures and transformed into hygienic and lightweight pebbles that help to absorb water and provide nutrition for the plants. LECA is extremely porous, allowing it to provide plants with an abundance of oxygen, water, and nutrients thus reducing rotting and disease in interior plants.

We are not a middleman who rent or sell plants from a shop lot. At Foliage, we cultivate and deliver the plant directly to you from our nursery. We grow the plants you order from us in our 6 acre nursery, free of plant disease through regular monitoring.

Soil is expertly removed from the plant.

Remaining soil is thoroughly washed away and the roots are inspected.

Plant is carefully replanted in highly absorbent clay pebbles (LECA).

Plant is kept in a water logged incubator for 3-6 months to enable the new root system to wrap around the LECA.

After days of careful monitoring and preparation, to ensure cleanliness and survivability, the plants are then ready for delivery to you.
